Using discarded plastic I collected from the streets, I was inspired to create sculptural, glass-like enclosures for the flowers. Fusing the synthetic with the organic. Unlike my fashion work, which is highly collaborative, I opted to work alone on this project. In the absence of a set designer or wider team, I solely relied on my own intuition. This internal process was highly meditative, and reconnected me to why I fell in love with photography. Stripping things back and returning to basics, the subject and I. I have left with a renewed sense of purpose and intention, and look forward to creating the next phase of my work over the coming year.
