The most unexpected discovery was realizing that beneath what appeared to be a precise, orderly cut lay nature’s most dynamic irregularities. The concept isn’t drawn from any single reference; it emerges from a long-standing observation of still life. We’re accustomed to seeing fruit in its whole, intact form, yet we often overlook the details revealed once it’s broken open.
